This paper investigates the application of existing interactive narrative theory to the creation of interactive, locative narratives. Locative media is introduced by outlining what is currently happening in the field and defining the elements that make the medium unique. Locative narrative is then introduced to the existing interactive narrative theories to see where it applies. I received a commendation for this paper.

The aim of this project was to design a service using the IP Multimedia Subsystem, which we then pitched to France Telecom. My team's solution was to establish a cross-platform blogging service, specifically designed for news reporting by citizens. The aim was to get world news out to people from the people who are close to or involved in the story, without a 3rd party journalist. I was the Interface Designer on this project.

This is a short Interactive Film based on a passage of linear text. The user assumes the character of a writer, who visits a village called Erigle Truagh to investigate the legend of a ghost. By interviewing the village locals, the user can piece together the legend. My role was User Tester.

'Storm' was an interactive installation piece, which aimed to combine nature and digital media. The strength of the wind blowing on the branches of a Bay Tree was measured using sensors. This in turn affected the behaviour of the audio and projected visuals. I exhibited this piece at 'New Designers 2006' in London.

The idea for 'Blink' was inspired by the need to create an interactive guestbook for a show. The result was abstract. The user is tempted to look through a small hole in the wall by light pouring from it. As they do, they faced with a reflection of their eye blinking back at them. Without their knowledge a short video clip has been taken of their eye from behind the mirror. Upon arrival into the next room, the user sees a projection featuring the day's eye videos in a collage, including theirs.
